Professor Gudrun Moore will talk about her work in this area and her collaboration with Professor Regan on the setting up of the world’s first DNA data bank looking at the four main complications of pregnancy using trios of mother, father and baby.

Dr Siobhan Quenby will draw on her expertise in both recurrent miscarriage and in working with obese women who are pregnant to look at all sorts of ‘problem’ pregnancies.

Staying Well – Taking Medication whilst you are Pregnant – looking at the risks

Many women avoid all medication whilst they are pregnant or worry that they are harming their child by taking the medicines they can’t avoid.  This seminar will look at what the risks really are and what is safe – and not so safe to take.
