Fight Cervical Cancer in Style Event - January 2010
As part of their 'Fight Cervical Cancer in Style' campaign GSK held a fantastic music event on 27th January in London.
The Sugababes, Pixie Lott, La Roux and Paloma Faith took to the stage at this star studded event alongside guest speaker (and WoW Patron) Sarah Brown
Celebrities from the worlds of fashion and music joined forces for one night only to put on an exclusive music and fashion event in support of Fight Cervical Cancer in Style, a national campaign to educate girls and women about cervical cancer so they can better understand their risk and how to reduce it. The campaign, developed by GlaxoSmithKline, is being run in association with Jo's Trust, the UK charity dedicated to cervical cancer, and is supported by the Royal College of Nursing and Wellbeing of Women. The campaign is funded by GlaxoSmithKline.
The Sugababes, Pixie Lott, Paloma Faith, La Roux, Lauren Laverne, Miquita Oliver, Sarah Brown and fashion designers PPQ were all part of the impressive line up for the event which will took place at Camden's KOKO in central London on 27th January 2010, during European Cervical Cancer Prevention Week. For those who missed out the event was filmed exclusively for T4.
