Dr Blott graduated from Newcastle University in 1982 and has done all her postgraduate training in London. She was appointed as a consultant in 1994 to King’s College Hospital where she stayed for ten years, after a brief return to Newcastle Dr Blott was appointed on to the staff of University College London NHS Trust in 2006 where she jointly manages a multidisciplinary high risk antenatal clinic and runs the labour ward.
Dr Blott is a regular columnist for Top Sante magazine and writes regularly for a number of other pregnancy related publications and she is a spokesperson for the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists.
