Lord Mayor's Appeal
Wellbeing of Women is proud to be the major beneficiary of the Lord Mayor of London?s appeal 2008.
The Appeal, which runs throughout 2008, will allow Wellbeing of Women to fund a unique global research resource dedicated to solving the four main complications in pregnancy.
This major research project will involve taking blood samples from parents and babies affected by one or more of these complications. The samples will then be used for DNA production and carefully examined to investigate both inheritance patterns and possible underlying causes of these conditions.
