Our mother's day campaign this year aims to raise more funds for the research, training and education that will help save mothers' and babies' lives.
The recent government white paper on public health stated "The Health and wellbeing of women before, during and after pregnancy is a critical factor in giving children a healthy start in life and laying the groundwork for good health and wellbeing in later life".
Wellbeing of women funds medical research to develop better treatments and procedures for obstetrics, we support specialist training to improve doctor's effectiveness and we provide education for women so that they can stay well.

Celebrity mum, presenter and actress Janet Ellis explains why she is on board: “I am really keen to support the Wellbeing of Women mother’s day campaign. The work the charity does benefits every mother, every baby, and indeed every woman. As a mother with two daughters I am keen that women’s health should get the investment it deserves so that they can benefit from the kind of advancements that Wellbeing makes possible.”
